Each student is expected to:

  1. Attend each class. Each student is allowed ONE unexcused absence per semester. If a student misses class, it is HIS/HER responsibility to submit a doctor's certificate during the first class after the absence. More than one unexcused absence will result in refusal of the zaliczenie for the course.
  2. Attend each class having prepared assignments according to the class schedule. Failure to prepare assignments TWICE per semester will result in refusal of the zaliczenie. "Assignment" also denotes reading and writing required by the class schedule.
  3. Take all tests, write all papers. Tests may not be made up (NO EXCEPTIONS). Papers will be presented in the form of computer printouts; apart from that, electronic versions will be sent the the instructor's email address, jrybicki@ap.krakow.pl.
  4. Exhibit a presence of the mind as well as of the body (see 1.). Each student should take an ACTIVE part in each class. Inactivity will be treated as an unexcused absence.

Assessment

The zaliczenie grade:

  • Class activity 30%
  • Test 30%
  • Papers 40%
